With Easter right around the corner I was super excited when one of my vendors sent me this darling hat! I had envisioned this shot in my head for about a week in anticipation of Allison's shoot. I wanted to encapsulate an organic, chic, clean image of Easter and it's colors
This little doe eyed beauty quickly melted my heart. Little Miss Elliot came for her milestone cake smash session about 2 weeks before her actual 1st birthday and with her she brought loads of smiles, personality ... and a love for cake!
This is Allison. Her shoot was such a dream. I actually went to school with her mom all the way through high school. I love it when I get to reconnect with people from the past and meet their littles. Especially when they are this cute!
This image is of Victoria and her beautiful son Victor when he was one week new. I had worked with Victoria on a commercial shoot and I had the pleasure of seeing her again one year later in a completely different light. She held her new son like he was her entire world. I loved every minute of this session, and am thrilled this image was chosen as my first award.
This edit is a little different from my usual but I love how the baby pops and the rest of the photo is darker. As per mom's request of photographing baby on wooden background!
She is Matilde, 3 months. She has been pretty awake during the whole shooting. She was so curious about what happening around her.I took this picture in her kitchen.
Meet Baby Rae. Instantly we had a connection - Star Wars! My little boy lent me his millennium falcon and Baby Rae's parents were thrilled to be able to bring one of their favourite movie saga's into the session. Such a joy to photograph and we had fun creating this selection of images.
Meet Allison. She was 18 days old in this image. I was not sure of how her shoot would go. Her commute was 1.5 hours to my studio, so she slept the entire way here. I was so nervous that she wouldn't sleep for me. Boy was I wrong! She slept like a champ and made my job look easy!
I wanted to try something new, so I went for a darker image. This image is a composite that I have had stored for a while now. I had a hard time working with it until I met this angel.
Fraternal triplet girls born at 30 weeks and photographed at 37 weeks in studio. Little miracles and parents are so in love with them.
Allison's session was a breeze. This image is one of my favorites from her shoot. Her sister Mia, 2 1/2 years old, was also present at the shoot and is just as adorable as Allison.
"Mother and son."
Firstborn. Love at first sight. This little man, with his head full of hair, will grow up so quickly - why won't he stay little forever?
What kind of world we want to create? Some fantasies and desires we have ...

My Little Birds Photography
Bode visited my studio with his two older siblings and his parents. He was such a handsome little guy and loved being snuggled.
Lately I have been loving the flokati rug shots...I have these rugs in so many different colors that its fun to finally incorporate them int each and every one of my sessions.
In the photo, my son Leo. He is two years old. I like to make fabulous photos. And here we see a walking Lilliputian with a huge plant on his shoulder)
I believe that as a part of a photographers job during a session is to make the clients vision come to life. I have never done a Harry Potter image in the past; however, i could see that capturing this theme for them (who are avid Harry Potter fans) would make their day, and allow this precious image to be an important part of them for many years to come.
For some reason, small children like to eat not too useful foods like carrots or cabbages, but pasta or bread. My son is no different from other children. In this photo I showed my son a good breakfast in the park.
Dad was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan so it's only fitting we would incorporate that into his son's session. Now mom and dad will have a few more Dallas Cowboys things to hang in his nursery.
Baby Samir was the sweetest! :) 16 days new at his photoshoot :)
I love it when parents bring a personal item, i think it makes the photo even more special :)
So when mommy told me that Samir's Aunty knitted the hat especialy for him i thought it was a very nice gesture and we happily used it in this photo 3>
